Pre-K Programs
All Camden children who will be 3 or 4 years old by October 1 are eligible for free, full-day pre-k programs.

Camden has several types of pre-k programs

Programs in CCSD Schools
Many district elementary schools offer pre-k programs.
These programs can be convenient for families with children in multiple grades.
Pre-k classrooms are available at Catto, Cooper's Poynt, Cream, Davis, Dudley, ECDC, Veterans, and Yorkship.

Private Provider Programs
Camden also has a number of private providers, which offer pre-k programs. These programs often provide other services for families and the community, such as health screenings and job or housing assistance.

Head Start programs (Acelero and Mosaic Early Learning) have additional eligibility requirements. If you are interested in these programs, contact the center to make an appointment for your intake interview.

Private provider pre-k programs include Acelero Learning (6 locations), Camden Day Nursery, Mosaic Early Learning, El Centro, Hispanic Day Care Center, Mi Casita (2 locations), Respond (5 locations), Rutgers - ELRA,
St. Joseph's CDC, and Ward Center (LaBar).

additional information for pre-k programs

If your child will be 3 years old by Oct. 1, apply to PK3 for next year.
If your child will be 4 years old by Oct. 1, apply to PK4.

For programs with more applicants than seats, two groups of students will have priority:
1. Children with a sibling already enrolled at that school or program
2. Children who are already attending the Infant/Toddler program at that pre-k site
**Note that sibling preference does not apply if the siblings attend different schools, even if the schools are located on the same campus.
If you're not sure whether your child qualifies, call 856-536-3999 for help.
